The renovation was completed on a tight budget and timeline, showcasing the studio’s ability to transform spaces efficiently.

The architects stripped away outdated fittings and introduced a seamless white flooring, enhancing the store’s overall brightness. The use of slightly tarnished metal frames for displaying clothes adds a unique contrast, merging the old with the new in a visually appealing way.

Mango’s Milestone

Mango, a leading European fashion group, is celebrating three decades in Portugal with the renovation of its oldest store located in Cascais. Originally opened in 1993, the store has undergone a significant transformation to align with the brand’s New Med retail concept, which emphasizes sustainability and architectural integration.

The revamped store features energy-efficient lighting, larger fitting rooms, and a Recycling Box for used clothing. This initiative reflects Mango’s commitment to sustainability and customer convenience, as it also includes a click-and-collect zone for online orders.
