Festival Ode: A Celebration of Art, Music, and Sustainability in Oeiras

Published on

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Festival Ode – For a State of Good, a vibrant event that combines art, dance, wellness, extreme sports, sustainability, and music. Organized by LG, ERP Portugal, and Novo Verde in collaboration with the municipality, the festival will take place at Parque dos Poetas in Oeiras..

The festival will kick off at 10:00 AM and run until midnight, offering a host of activities that will make it hard for attendees to choose where to start. From art installations and musical performances to wellness activities and extreme sports, the event is designed to promote well-being while raising awareness about sustainable practices, particularly in reducing, reusing, and recycling electronic waste and packaging.

As night falls, the festival will shift its focus to the concert stage, where three musicians will perform starting at 8:00 PM. The first act will be Ricardo Sá, the winner of this year’s Life’s Good Music Contest, who will showcase his talent and explain why he earned the top spot in the #OneStep4MusicFest initiative.

This contest, created in 2018 by LG Portugal and Big Appetite 4 Music, aims to discover and promote emerging artists, providing them with opportunities to perform on major national stages. This year’s theme, Life’s Good, encourages young talents to create music that inspires positivity and resilience in everyday life.

Following Ricardo Sá, the RichFellaz will take the stage at 9:15 PM, promising to keep the energy high. The festival will conclude with a performance by Eu.Clides, who is expected to elevate the atmosphere even further.

In addition to the musical performances, attendees can engage in various activities such as climbing walls, biodanza workshops, street art, a repair café, yoga, and meditation sessions. There will also be a chance to visit LG’s stand, designed as a smart and sustainable home that integrates technology with eco-friendly design. This space emphasizes LG’s commitment to sustainability and showcases innovations aimed at enhancing quality of life.

The campaign “Ode for a State of Good” is a special initiative by LG Portugal, ERP Portugal, and Novo Verde, featuring online and offline activities, including a new edition of the RECICL’ARTE art contest and the Life’s Music Contest. The festival serves as a grand finale to this campaign, which aims to inspire a positive mindset and encourage good practices among the youth, promoting optimism and the courage to step out of comfort zones.

As the festival approaches, excitement builds for a day filled with creativity, music, and a commitment to sustainability, making it an event not to be missed in Oeiras.
