Cristiano Ronaldo Extends International Goal Tally As Portugal Thrash Poland

Cristiano Ronaldo once again showcased his extraordinary talent, scoring a pivotal goal as Portugal triumphed over Poland 3-1 in the UEFA Nations League. This victory marks Portugal’s third consecutive win in the tournament, solidifying their position at the top of League A.

The game began with a strong performance from Portugal, who took the lead in the 26th minute. Bernardo Silva volleyed in a goal after a clever nod from Bruno Fernandes, setting the tone for the match.

Ronaldo doubled the lead shortly after, capitalizing on a rebound from Rafael Leao’s shot that hit the post. This goal not only highlighted Ronaldo’s positioning skills but also marked his third goal in as many games during this Nations League campaign.

With his latest goal, Ronaldo has now reached a remarkable total of 133 international goals, further extending his record as the highest-scoring male player in international football. The 39-year-old striker, currently playing for Al Nassr, continues to defy age and expectations, proving to be a crucial asset for his national team.
