In a significant operation against drug trafficking, four men were arrested in international waters south of Portugal. The operation was conducted by the Portuguese Navy and the National Maritime Authority (AMN), in collaboration with the Judicial Police (PJ).
The suspects, aged between 29 and 47, were apprehended after authorities intercepted a high-speed vessel suspected of engaging in narcotics activities.
The operation took place on a Saturday night, highlighting the ongoing efforts of Portuguese authorities to combat drug trafficking in the region. The vessel was pursued by two high-speed boats—one operated by the Tactical Action Group (GAT) of the Maritime Police and the other by Navy commandos.
