Beach stations are now open on the islands of Fuseta and Armona

Published on

The Fuseta-Mar and Armona islands have launched their beach stations with nursing support, operational daily from 10:00 to 18:00 until September 15th. At these beach posts, staffed by a nurse, holidaymakers can receive health and nursing care for minor injuries, stings, heat stroke, sunburn, and more.

This initiative, a collaboration between the Municipality of Olhão, the Algarve Local Health Unit, and the Portuguese Red Cross, ensures immediate healthcare access without leaving the beach. Mayor António Miguel Pina highlights the importance of these posts for providing essential health services conveniently.
