Award-Winning Wines Shine at Vinessen Korea’s Tasting Event

Published on

Wine enthusiasts gathered at the Lotte Hotel Seoul for Vinessen Korea’s third grand tasting event, showcasing a selection of award-winning wines from France, Italy, and Portugal. The event, held over two days, attracted around 700 guests eager to explore high-quality wines and spirits.

Michel Lamoot, CEO of Vinessen Korea, highlighted the company’s commitment to providing high-quality wines that meet the evolving tastes of Korean consumers. The event featured a variety of wines, including Quinta da Côrte from Portugal’s Douro Valley.

This year, the focus shifted from showcasing the entire production line to introducing new selections, creating a more festive atmosphere. Kim Young-kwan, senior manager at Vinessen Korea, noted the importance of engaging with a broader audience, including individual consumers.

Vinessen Korea has been a key player in the wine import market for nearly a decade, collaborating with Vinessen France to bring premium wines to Korea. Lamoot emphasized the importance of quality and value, stating, “We are recognized today as an import company with the best value for money.”

As the wine culture in Korea continues to evolve, events like Vinessen Korea’s grand tasting play a crucial role in educating consumers and promoting high-quality products. With a growing interest in wine, the company aims to enhance its presence in the market, ensuring that Korean consumers have access to the best selections from around the world.
