HolaCamp Launches First Camping Park in Algarve, Portugal

Published on

HolaCamp has officially opened its first camping park outside of Spain, located in the picturesque Algarve region of Portugal. The new Camping Albufeira is set to enhance the local tourism landscape with an investment exceeding four million euros over the next three years. This marks a significant milestone for the company, which now manages eight camping parks and operates in nine tourist destinations.

HolaCamp’s entry into the Portuguese market is a strategic move aimed at capitalizing on the country’s growing popularity as a tourist destination. The Camping Albufeira was chosen for its prime location in a natural setting, catering to both domestic and international tourists. The park’s extensive facilities are designed to accommodate various customer needs, enhancing the overall camping experience.

In addition to expanding its physical presence, HolaCamp is also strengthening its operational structure. The company is increasing its workforce in Barcelona by over 30 employees, focusing on key areas such as revenue management, marketing, strategy, finance, IT, and data analysis. This expansion will add nearly 200 staff members across its central offices and camping parks.
