Grupo Lusiaves Invests €66 Million in Egg Incubation Center in Pombal

Grupo Lusiaves has made a significant investment of €66 million in a new egg incubation center, inaugurated on Monday at the Manuel da Mota Industrial Park in Pombal, Leiria district. The company describes this facility as one of the best in Europe.

The new facility, operated by Pintogal, a subsidiary of Grupo Lusiaves focused on egg production and incubation, spans a total area of 3.25 hectares. The production area alone covers approximately 9,000 square meters.

This investment is expected to create over 200 jobs, primarily on farms producing eggs for the new facility, which will employ around 50 workers..

Founded in 1986, Grupo Lusiaves is a family-owned and nationally operated company that focuses on poultry production. The company generates over €700 million in revenue in Portugal and employs approximately 4,500 people.
