Grupo Lakhani’s €70 Million Investment in Portugal Projects

Grupo Lakhani, a prominent hotel group, has announced a significant investment of €70 million in more than 20 projects across Portugal. This ambitious plan includes the opening of three new hotels by 2025, marking a substantial commitment to the Portuguese hospitality sector.

The investment by Grupo Lakhani, also known as TLG Global, is poised to enhance the Portuguese tourism landscape significantly. The group is currently finalizing the construction of several hotels, including:

The Wyndham Garden Alentejo, a four-star hotel featuring 75 rooms, is particularly noteworthy, with an investment of approximately €15 million. This project is in its final construction phase and has garnered attention from local government officials.

Recently, the Secretary of State for Tourism in Portugal, Pedro Machado, along with other tourism officials, visited the Wyndham Garden Alentejo site. During this visit, Machado pledged to address electrical infrastructure issues that have been delaying construction.

Carlos Abade, the President of Tourism of Portugal, commended the project, stating it represents a significant advancement for the Portuguese tourism industry. He emphasized the positive effects the hotel will have on attracting visitors and promoting Portugal as a high-quality tourist destination.
