Abby and Matt Howard Respond to Backlash Over Parenting Choices on Cruise

Published on

Abby and Matt Howard, popular parenting influencers, have faced significant backlash after revealing they left their two toddlers alone in their cruise cabin while dining. The couple, who run a successful podcast and have millions of followers on social media, have now clarified their actions amid public outrage.

During a recent seven-night cruise, Abby and Matt Howard decided to dine at the ship’s restaurants while their sons, Griffin (2) and August (1), slept in their cabin. Abby explained that the children were not enjoying the cruise, which led them to adjust their dinner schedule to after the toddlers’ bedtime. They attempted to monitor their children using FaceTime, as their baby monitors were ineffective on the ship.

This decision sparked outrage on social media, with many users expressing disbelief and concern. Critics pointed out the dangers of leaving young children unattended, referencing the infamous case of Madeleine McCann, who disappeared while on holiday with her family.
