Burna Boy Ignites the Stage at Meo Kalorama

Burna Boy’s performance at the Meo Kalorama festival started off lukewarm but quickly escalated into a blazing spectacle. The Nigerian artist, known for his advocacy of pan-Africanism and his global influence in the afrobeats genre, captivated the audience despite initial sound issues.

Burna Boy, a giant in the afrobeats genre, took to the main stage at Meo Kalorama. Initially, the performance was marred by sound issues, making it difficult to hear his vocals. However, as the show progressed, Burna Boy’s energy and charisma won over the crowd. His set included hits that resonated with fans, turning a shaky start into a triumphant finish.

Female Artists Also Shine

The final day of the festival was dominated by female performers who left a lasting impression. Portuguese artist Ana Moura delivered an emotional set, featuring songs from her album Casa Guilhermina. Despite some vocal strain, her performance was a highlight, especially her rendition of “Loucura.”

RAYE, the British singer-songwriter, also captivated the audience with her powerful voice and engaging stage presence. Her setlist included a mix of jazz and pop, with standout tracks like “Genesis” and “Escapism.”

The Meo Kalorama festival wrapped up with a series of great yet diverse performances and The festival will return in 2025, promising more exciting acts and memorable moments.
