Severe Weather Causes Over 100 Incidents in Greater Lisbon

Severe weather has struck the Greater Lisbon area, leading to significant disruptions and over a hundred reported incidents. The Civil Protection Agency has documented a total of 116 occurrences, with 52 specifically in the Greater Lisbon region. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries, but the incidents primarily involve flooding, fallen trees, and the need for public road clean-up.

The severe weather conditions have led to a variety of challenges for local authorities and residents and the impact of the severe weather has been felt across the community, with many residents facing disruptions in their daily routines.

However, the prompt response from local authorities has helped mitigate potential injuries and further damage. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and follow updates from local agencies as recovery efforts continue.
