Apple has officially introduced the iPhone 16, the latest addition to its lineup of smartphones. The new models, including the basic, Plus, and Pro versions, will be available in Portugal starting September 20, with prices ranging from €989 to €1,500.
Pricing and Models
For the Portuguese market, the basic version of the iPhone 16 will be priced at €989. The Plus model, featuring a larger screen, will start at €1,139 for the 128 GB version. The high-end Pro model will cost €1,249 for the 256 GB version, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max, with 1 TB of storage, will be priced at €1,499.
Additional Products
In addition to the iPhone 16, Apple also unveiled new versions of its smartwatches and earphones. The Apple Watch Series 10 will start at €459 in Portugal. The new AirPods 4 will have a base price of €149, with the noise-canceling version priced at €199. The AirPods Max will start at €579.
The announcement was made via a video presentation in Cupertino, California. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, highlighted the new features of the products, including brighter screens, lighter designs, and longer battery life. The new iPhones also feature a network that suppresses external sounds to make call audio clearer.
